As someone who has dealt with anxiety over the last few years, when I learned about the Bell Let's Talk campaign, which spreads awareness for mental health, I thought its was something that would be very beneficial and finally let other people learn about the mental health and mental illnesses.

Cardinal Hockey Recap: Playoff Push

This is a little bit late, I know. It has been a busy last couple of weeks with school but here is a recap of Saint Mary's Hockey the last two weekends!

SMU Women's Hockey

Jan. 23-24

The Cardinals had a tough weekend ahead of them as they geared up to play Gustavus, who is at the top of the leader board for the MIAC (as of Feb. 5th) with 23 points and a 11-0-1 conference record so far (15-2-2 overall). But the Cardinals knew that they were still beatable and wanted to go into the weekend with that mentality.

If you follow hockey of any kind, especially on social media websites like Facebook and Twitter, I am sure you saw the recently released video featuring of some of the top NHL players with Go Pro cameras mounted on their helmets and strapped to their chests to show their skill level up close and personal. Cardinal Hockey: Weekend Recap - Sweeps

It was some big conference match ups this weekend for Cardinal Hockey, as both the men and women were taking on Bethel University in hopes to get a few more conference points. Let's check out how the Cardinals did during these MIAC conference games.

SMU Women's Hockey

Going into this weekend against Bethel University, both teams had very similar records on the season so far. This was a perfect opportunity for the Cardinals to grab up a couple more conference points and move up in the MIAC Conference ranks.
